COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (CERT)
ATTN. EERT MEMBERS:

A new series of classes will begin on Tuesday, May 8, 2001, from 7:00-9:30 PM at the Tujunga Elks Lodge, on Commerce at corner of Valmont (2 1/2 blocks above Foothill).

The course is put on by the Los Angeles Fire Department and is FREE! Subjects covered in the seven sessions are: Registration, introduction; fire extinguishers, suppression and hazardous materials; medical triage and treatment; search, rescue and evacuation; medical treatment and disaster psychology; team organization and management; review, disaster simulations and critique.
