MAYOR HAHN ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS TO THE NORTH VALLEY AREA PLANNING COMMISSION

LOS ANGELES - Mayor Jim Hahn today announced that he has appointed David Honda and Dr. John Lett, Sr. to the North Valley Area Planning Commission. Mayor Hahn has also reappointed George Stavaris and Sandor Winger. These appointments require confirmation by the Los Angeles City Council.

"This talented group shares my commitment to the city of Los Angeles and I am confident that they will lead the city in the right direction," said Mayor Hahn.

North Valley Area Planning Commission

David Honda. David Honda is the President of D.S. Honda Construction Inc. He was the Co-Founder of Spacemakers, Inc. and Vice President of Innovax Construction. He graduated from San Fernando Valley State College and he resides in the San Fernando Valley.

Dr. John Lett, Sr. Dr. John Lett, Sr. is the Senior Pastor for the Greater Missionary MBC. He was also a Senior Pastor at First John MBC and Temple of Faith MBC. He received his Doctorate of Divinity from Reeds Christian College. He lives in Lake View Terrace.

George Stavaris. George Stavaris is an associate with Cushman and Wakefield. He was an associate with Delphi Business Properties and the Vice President of Hercules Painting and Decorating, Inc. He lives in Northridge.

Sandor Winger. Sandor Winger is a local government analyst for the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO). He was a Business Manager for Teledyne Incorporated. He graduated from Pierce College and lives in Northridge.
