Lake View Terrace, CA: All Nations Church will host a "day/night" event on Saturday September 17th, 2005. At 8:00am volunteers will meet in the church parking lot, 10000 Foothill Blvd. And ascend into the wash area behind the church. The goal is to clean up under the Foothill Blvd bridge and the adjacent storm drain.
At 6:00pm there will be a community barbecue with food and drinks provided in the horse rest area off Foothill Place. The recreation trail around the church will be open just after dark for those who wish to experience a night ride around the mile long trail around the church.
Representatives from LAPD Foothill Division, Council Offices of Wendy Greuel & Alex Padilla will be invited to distribute materials pertaining to public safety and community involvement. If you are interested in participating or have questions, please call: 818 470-5235.
