Email from Gibson Ranch

Friends,

As most of you know, the County has sued us over the location of our back fence. As you will see from the documents attached in the link below, that fence line has not moved for decades and our deed appears to include the 15 feet in dispute. To top it off, the County is asking the judge to award it $181,000 for our "use" of these 15 feet of dirt.

We even offered to move the fence to avoid this fight. They declined our offer, insisting that we pay them the $181,000.

Most of you are familiar with our place and know we just want to have a nice ranch and a place to ride our horses. Most of you have probably ridden in our arena. If the County has its way, our arena will be a lot smaller and our financial ability to continue our current operations is doubtful.

If you want to see any of the files from the case go to http:// www.gibsonranch.us; go to the bottom of the page and click on A DOMING. It's all there.

If you would call Supervisor Antonovich's Chief of Staff (Supervisor Antonovich is making these demands on behalf of the County) and ask her why this is happening, maybe they would come back to their senses.

We appreciate all your help.

Dale, Heather & Reid Gibson
