Hansen Dam--James Wilson from Councilmember Alex Padilla's Sylmar office reported to Bette Simpson that Building & Engineering used the wrong plans resulting in the equestrian trail being paved over. Chris Arlington reported the trail behind the new parking lot and across from the Recreation and Parks headquarters had been paved and designated a bicycle path. The new plans had called for paving 12 feet of the 16 foot wide horse trail for a bike path leaving a 4 foot unpaved horse trail. Wilson stated he will meet with Gary Bond and Kevin Reagan, Rec & Parks on Thursday, January 30th.
