Altadena equestrians and supporters celebrated the opening and rededication of the new Loma Alta Park Equestrian Arenas in style on Saturday, September 6th. The festivities started with a parade of equestrians and the Loma Alta Drill Team lead by Congressman Adam Schiff. The park was dedicated in memory of the Buffalo Soldiers by LA County Supervisor Mike Antonovich, Tracy Sullivan, president of Altadena Equestrian Resources, and Penny Daniels, Park Supervisor.
One of the keynotes of the park is the fact that the $70,000 budgeted project was completed on-time, under budget and represents the collaboration of many community and equestrian organizations.
