It appears that the Department of Parks and Recreation has been successful in obtaining the funding from Proposition K to allow a study of Rim of the Valley Trail in 2004. To ascertain priority areas they have established a small committee. One member is our VHOA West Valley Director, Kent Lovelady. Therefore, if anyone has ideas as to where the trail should be routed and which areas should come first please mail your suggestions with map specific details to Kent Lovelady, 12301 Zelzah Avenue, Granada Hills, CA 91344. This first phase in 2004 is to study only with acquisition funding to come later in 2005 and 2006.
