Hansen Dam Ride, April 17-18

The first annual TRAP (Trail Rider Award Program) Ride will be staged in the Hansen Dam area. The ride will be Saturday, April 17th with a pot luck dinner Saturday evening, and riding Sunday, April18th.

If you’re not a member of the TRAP riders or Equestrian Trails, just join a Corral in your area. TRAP keeps tract of trail usage to help defend the trails in developed area so they are not closed out of ignorance.

Why does VHOA support the TRAP program? Simple, when trails aren’t used, the trails are lost. If trail use isn’t documented, then there is little to educate the ignorant who sit in offices far removed from the neighborhoods and communities equestrians live in.
