We want to thank all of you who dropped by or called to see how we at Sevenoaks were surviving the rampaging Little T. As many of you know, the horse trail on the western bank now runs from our house to the Carpenters next door. Hardly seems worth saddling up! The rest of it is in the river. It picks up again to the north, but as of yet one can't get through upriver or down. I'm sure we will find a way, though, as soon as things settle down. Right now they have a bulldozer moving sand around in the bottom.
There is a little dog roaming around our place, looks like a cross between a chihuahua and a dacshund, brindle with one white paw and a red or pink collar. S/he is too scared to come to us yet, but we are trying to keep an eye on him/her. Please call 896-9687 if anyone knows the owner. Probably got scared in the flooding and ran off from home.
